A daytime fire in a Glendale strip mall on Feb. 21, 2014 quickly escalated to a 3-alarm blaze as flames spread rapidly throughout the interior and roof. It is believed the fire in the 600 block of Glenoaks Blvd. started in a dry cleaning business and quickly spread to adjoining businesses. One elderly person was treated for breathing difficulty but no other injuries were reported at the time of this post. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
